We Treat Patients of All Ages
Comprehensive Full-Mouth Care for Your Best Dental & Oral Health
Besides twice daily brushing and daily flossing, it is essential to visit the dentist for a professional cleaning at least twice a year. During a cleaning, we remove stains, plaque, tartar, and food build-up from the teeth that are difficult to remove by brushing and flossing alone. We are able to inspect the smile for any developing issues and make recommendations to you on how you can improve your dental and oral care regimen.
We recommend that a child visit the dentist for their first appointment around the time of their first birthday. It is best for a child to receive dental care as early as possible, so they can develop the foundation for a healthy adult smile later in life. During your child’s first visit, we will give them a fun tour of our office, and Dr. Fiscus will take a look at their teeth to make sure no decay is developing. This is a relaxed appointment in which your child will have a fun, positive experience! When treating children, we always make sure to explain everything we are doing and make sure they are as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Unfortunately, no matter how well you take care of your teeth, your smile is subject to discoloration due to foods, beverages, and medications you consume. At our practice, we offer the Opalescence take-home whitening system for patients to use, which provides results that last as long as one to three years with occasional touch-ups. We also provide take-home or in-office bleaching trays. No matter what option you choose, you can rest assured the result will be a vibrant smile you are proud to show off.
Veneers are thin, strong porcelain shells that are bonded onto the front of teeth. They can transform the appearance of the tooth and/or protect a damaged tooth from further harm. Veneers are a great option for teeth that are discolored, cracked, chipped, or gapped, and they are custom-created to meet your specific needs.
Dental implants are a tooth-replacement option consisting of a titanium post that is surgically inserted into the gums and then allowed to fuse to the jawbone over the course of a few months. This post will serve as the “root” of the artificial tooth. After the fusion occurs, we cover the post with a crown, which will help the implant look like and function as a real tooth.
If you have an old silver amalgam filling and are concerned about mercury exposure, we offer safe amalgam removal procedures. We can then replace your filling with a tooth-colored composite filling that will blend in seamlessly with your smile.
We offer several options for devices in order to relieve symptoms of snoring and sleep apnea. These devices are designed to keep the airways open during sleep, promoting easier breathing and improved airflow.
